<阿甘正传>-Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump,早就想关于<阿甘正传>写点什么了,只是一直碍于其他的事情没有动笔.今天，突然有一股想说话的冲动,顺手就写了这篇文章.
I have long intended to write something about this extraordinary moive, but always been delayed by little matters for one reason or another(这样或那样的原因).Today,with an impulse to say something,I write down this article.
说实话,<阿甘正传>应该算得上迄今为止对我影响最深的一部电影.它的成功不用我来说了,奥斯卡的N个小金人摆在美国电影协会的纪念馆里面,至今都还闪闪地发着光,一举奠定了它在美国百年电影史上的地位.
<阿甘正传>是一部能带给人思考的电影,观众在阿甘那异于常人的思维和言行带来的笑声中慢慢地熟悉了这个人物,一开始或许谁也不曾想到一个IQ低于80的人最终竟然能取得那么大的成功.
我摘取电影里面的几个片段收藏在这里.
I considered it as the one that affects me most since I have seen films.No need to say how great it is,several Oscar Awards have alredy proved its success and therefore it ranked in the front place among the 100 years history of the American movie.Well,I just pick out several impressive scenes to memorialize it with an adoring mind.

Now, when I was a baby momma named me after the great civil war hero, General Nathan Bedford Forrest. She said we were related to him in some way. What he did was: he started up this club called the Ku Klux Klan. They’d all dress up in their robes and their bed sheets and act like a bunch of ghosts or spooks or something. They ‘d even put bed sheets on their horses and ride around. And anyway, that’s how I got my name: Forrest Gump.
1:Life is like a box of chocolates,you never know what you gonna get.
生活就像是一盒巧克力,如同你永远不知道下一个是什么口味一样,它的结果是无法预料的.的确,生活中充满了很多的偶然和巧合,一切似乎都在你不经意中向前发展着,但是,当到了某一天,到了某一个结果的时候,会让你大吃一惊.但是,仔细一想,也许这个结果早就命中注定.
A famous remark from Gump——Life is like a box of chocolates,you never know what you gonna get.Exactly speaking it is from Gump’s moma.Indeed,life is full of chances and coincidence. Everything around you develops as you are not aware,but one day an unexpected result arised,it may shock you.However who knows whether you are beforehand doomed .At present,I don’t know whether someone has mastered a profound understanding like the prophet who can predict the future.If you happen to know,please contact me.
2:A promise is a promise.承诺就是承诺,说出来了就要做到,不然就不要轻易说出口.这个感同身受,相信每个人都有体会.When Gump went to Barbbo’s house and perform his words which he promised to Barbbo,he says so.Once you have promised someone something,you should carry it out.Or don’t promise easily.At this point,there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people’s eyes.You do think of it.
3:Shit Happens!
这个很有意思,当人家找贴牌广告的标语来问阿甘的时候,Gump随意说出来的一句”Shit Happens!”竟然一下子成为了名言.在常人脑子里面绝对没有的逻辑,在阿甘那里却顺理成章,生活中总有倒霉不走运的时候,当你碰到的时候,用阿甘的逻辑思维法一想,不过是”踩到一滩狗屎而已”,一笑而过,没什么大不了.
I thought this quite interesting when someone run over to Mr Gump inquiring of an ad’s slogan he just blurts out”Shit Happens”.Absolutely only Gump can think out of this and makes you feel no surprisingly.There is always poor things happen in daily life,so when it comes to you,just think as Gump,it is just a pile of shit.No big deal.

——Are you stupid or something?(你是傻了还是怎么了?)
——Stupid is what stupid does.(傻人做傻事，傻人有傻福.)阿甘嘴里面的经典.捕虾不是件简单活,所以当阿甘拿出他做乒乓球活动代言人赚来的$2,5000买捕虾船的时候,人家认为他是脑子进水.可是,谁会想到阿甘最后用这一条船打拼出来了属于自己的事业呢.
One more famous remark from Gump.Shrimping is not a easy job,when Gump paid his $2,5000 money earned as a Ping-Pong paddles endorser (乒乓球拍代言人)to buy a shrimping boat,the man thought he must be stupid or something .But who can tell that it brings Gump the first bucket of gold(第一桶金) and developped into a huge business later.
5:电影里面自然有夸张的部分,不过,阿甘3年连续不断打造出来的长跑冠军形象给我印象很深.不需要任何理由,执着地做一件事情,一坚持就是3年.这个很难得,因此,每次当我跑步累到想放弃的时候,总会把自己想象成Gump,坚持一下,你可以完成目标的.
I accept every movie has stretched the truth,but the image of the long-term runner leaves me a particularly deep impression .He insists on running for 3-years not requiring an single reason.That is hard to hold on,every time when I feel like giving up running,Gump occured to my mind.”Just keep on running,you will make it.”
6:电影的开头和结尾都出现了一根漂在空中的羽毛,伴随着很美的钢琴曲.从影片的开头从天而降被Gump捡起放夹到书中到影片结尾随风飘走飞向天空,这样的设计很巧妙吧.
The film begins with a feather falling to the feet of Forrest Gump who is sitting at a bus stop narrativing stories and ends with the feather drifting skyward after seeing off little Forrest boarding on the school bus.It is a talent design.What is more,the accompanying piano music sounds quite suitable.You have to admire the producer’s imaginable mind.
其他值得关注的东西还有很多,电影本身就相当于美国90年代的历史纪录片一样,贯穿了很多的历史性镜头.比如“越南战争” “猫王” “尼克松水门事件” “中美乒乓球外交” “黑人维权运动” “肯尼迪枪击案”“阿姆斯特朗登月”等等.
Of course there are many other significance deserve to dig ,like the movie itself seems to experiencing firsthand historic events of the late 20th century while being largely unaware of their significance .Gump encounters many historical figures and events throughout his life ,such as “The Vietnam War”,“The Hillbilly Cat”,“Ping-Pong diplomacy”“Blacks Civil Rights Movement” ,“The Kennedy Assassination” and so on.
